7.5T (CAT C1) Drivers Wanted – Edinburgh & Lothians
Location: Edinburgh & Lothians
Pay Rate: £13.50 – £20.25 per hour (PAYE)
Shifts: Monday to Friday (weekend work may be available)
Job Type: Ad-hoc, ongoing, and temp-to-perm opportunities
Apex Resources is currently recruiting experienced 7.5T (CAT C1) Drivers to support a variety of clients across Edinburgh and the Lothians. With demand from our trusted partners in logistics, construction, and supply chain sectors, we can offer flexible shifts, competitive pay, and long-term potential.
Key Responsibilities:
*
Driving 7.5T vehicles across local and regional routes
*
Performing multi-drop deliveries, trunking runs, or site supply work depending on the client
*
Ensuring safe loading/unloading – some manual handling may be involved
*
Completing delivery paperwork and using a digital tachograph
*
Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach
What We Offer:

Competitive hourly rates: £13.50 – £20.25 (depending on shift type and client)

Weekly pay (PAYE), every Friday
*
Day and night shifts available
*
Ongoing, ad-hoc, and temp-to-perm contracts

Requirements:

Valid 7.5T (Category C1) driving licence
*
Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
*
No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD, or CD endorsements)

Minimum 6 months’ recent experience preferred
*
Strong understanding of road safety, good timekeeping, and reliability
