Derby with some Nottingham & Leicester travel
£35,000 p.a.

The Company:
ER Recruitment is proud to be working with a leading training provider who are passionate about developing future talent. They deliver a wide range of qualifications that inspire young people to take their first steps into their careers.
They are now seeking an Accountancy Skills Coach to bring accountancy to life for apprentices. You’ll be joining a supportive team who believe in giving you the tools to succeed, even if teaching is new to you.
Role & Responsibilities of the Accountancy Skills Coach:
* Deliver engaging training sessions in Accountancy or Payroll Apprenticeship Standards (up to Level 4) — either in-person or online.
* Share your real-world accounting experience to make learning relevant and practical.
* Support and motivate learners, helping them overcome challenges and celebrate progress.
* Assess learner work and track achievement using an e-portfolio system.
* Keep up to date with developments in the accounting sector.
* Promote and embed safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion into every session.
* Manage your own diary effectively to ensure timely delivery and learner support.
About You as the Accountancy Skills Coach:
* AAT Level 4 (or equivalent qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, Finance Degree).
* A passion for helping others to succeed — no previous teaching experience required.
* Strong IT skills and confidence using online platforms.
* Organised, adaptable and able to engage learners in different ways.
* A great communicator who can explain concepts clearly and simply.
* Recognised teaching qualification is a bonus — but full training and support will be provided.
This role could also suit a Teacher, Trainer or Tutor in Accountancy or Finance.
