One of our local government clients is seeking a Administrator to join their Business Support Hub. We are looking for a motivated and professional individual to play an important role in providing high-quality administrative and business support across the service area.
About the Role
As part of the Business Support Hub, you will contribute to the delivery of an efficient, effective, and professional administrative service. Each member of the Hub has specific areas of responsibility but is also expected to provide cover and assistance across the wider team when required.
Your day-to-day duties will include:

Providing comprehensive administrative and business support to teams and service areas
*
Maintaining accurate records, data, and documentation
*
Responding to internal and external customer queries in a timely and professional manner
*
Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues and service users
*
Supporting the smooth running of the Hub through collaborative working and flexibility
About You
You will be organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a busy office environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with a proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork.
Essential Skills and Experience
*
Previous experience working within a local authority or Council environment – this is essential or highly desirable
*
Proven background in administration and customer service
*
Strong IT skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams)
*
Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
*
A professional and flexible approach to work
