Salary: £55,000 – £60,000 (negotiable depending on experience)
Benefits: Company car
Holiday: 22 days annual leave + birthday + bank holidays (increasing by 1 day per year of service, up to 28 days)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Air Conditioning and Ventilation Project Manager to oversee the delivery of commercial and industrial HVAC projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in air conditioning and ventilation systems, exceptional organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
*
Manage end-to-end delivery of AC and ventilation projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
*
Conduct site surveys, risk assessments, and feasibility studies.
*
Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with specifications and regulatory standards.
*
Prepare and manage project documentation, including RAMS, progress reports, and O&M manuals.
Technical Oversight
*
Provide technical expertise across AC and ventilation installations, maintenance, and commissioning.
*
Liaise with engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure correct design and installation practices.
*
Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions promptly.
Skills & Experience Required
*
Proven experience as a Project Manager within the HVAC (Air Conditioning/Ventilation) sector.
*
Strong knowledge of AC systems (VRV/VRF, splits, chillers) and ventilation systems (AHUs, ductwork, heat recovery).
*
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
*
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
*
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
*
Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office.
*
Valid UK driving licence.
*
Relevant industry qualifications (F-Gas, HNC/HND, SMSTS, or equivalent) are advantageous.
