Asbestos Surveyor

💰 OTE: £50,000

💰 BASE: £37,000 - £40,000

🕒 35-hour week | Overtime paid at time and a half

💼 Pension: 5% | Flexible working week

Our client, a respected provider of asbestos management and environmental safety services, is known for their technical expertise, regulatory insight, and modern approach to service delivery. They work across a diverse range of sectors including industrial, commercial, and public environments, maintaining a reputation for quality, safety, and professionalism.

As they continue to expand, they are seeking an experienced Commercial / Industrial Asbestos Surveyor to join their high-performing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional who values autonomy, variety, and precision, and who takes pride in delivering work that safeguards public health and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  * Carry out management, refurbishment, and demolition asbestos surveys across commercial, domestic, and industrial premises.

  * Conduct bulk sampling in line with current industry guidelines.

  * Compile, review, and quality-check survey reports.

  * Participate in audits, re-inspections, and re-surveys as required.

  * Liaise professionally with clients and internal departments to ensure smooth project delivery.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Essential:

  * BOHS P402 certification (or RSPH equivalent).

  * Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an Asbestos Surveyor within the industry.

  * Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  * Ability to work independently with a proactive, team-focused mindset.

  * Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.

  * Full UK Driving Licence.

Desired:

  * Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages.

  * Experience using TEAMS asbestos management systems
