Asbestos Surveyor - Ready for a role with more stability, trust and support?
£42000
37hr week
If you're an experienced Asbestos Surveyor who's starting to think "there must be somewhere that does things properly", this is worth a look.
A Property Investment team is looking to bring in an additional Surveyor to strengthen their asbestos management programme across a mix of domestic and commercial stock. If you want a role where your expertise is respected, your workload is manageable, and your voice actually matters, this is the kind of environment most surveyors say they wish they'd moved to earlier.
What you'll be doing
Carrying out Management Surveys using TEAMS (or similar), keeping everything aligned with HSG264.
Recording ACMs accurately so maintenance and wider operational teams can work safely and confidently.
Supporting Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) and Re-inspection survey programmes when required.
Managing your own diary without unnecessary micromanagement.
Providing technical advice to colleagues and helping improve consistency and standards across the service.
Assisting with QC checks and maintaining high-quality compliance data across survey reports.
Why surveyors are interested in this role
Stability - predictable work, consistent survey volumes and a steady pace.
Autonomy - trust to manage your workload and organise your day.
Supportive team culture - people who value accuracy, safety and clear communication.
Influence - your technical input is listened to, not ignored.
Meaningful work - what you do directly protects customers, colleagues and contractors.
