SEND Teaching Assistant – ASD Specialism Specialist SEND School Seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant with ASD Experience Southwark, South East London Pay: £95 - £115 per day Start Date: ASAP / September 2026 Contract: Full-time, Long-term (with potential for a permanent position) About the Role: Vocational Recruitment is working in partnership with a specialist SEND school in Southwark to appoint a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant with experience supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This is a full-time, long-term position supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, with a particular focus on Autism. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to provide tailored support that enables pupils to achieve their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally. Previous experience working with children with Autism is highly desirable, alongside excellent communication skills, patience, resilience, and a nurturing approach.
