Asset Disposals Surveyor – Grays, Essex – £72.59 per hour (umbrella)

A Local Authority in Essex is recruiting an experienced Interim Asset Disposals Surveyor to support its Improvement and Recovery Plan following a Section 114 Notice.

Role Overview:
You will lead on identifying and progressing property disposal opportunities through comprehensive due diligence and effective management of the disposal process, from instruction to completion. Working with internal teams, legal advisors, and appointed agents, you’ll ensure transactions are delivered efficiently, achieve best value, and contribute to the Council’s financial recovery.

Key Requirements:

  * 

    Proven experience managing property disposals in a local authority or public sector setting.

  * 

    Strong understanding of asset valuation, property law, and local government procedures.

  * 

    Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

  * 

    MRICS qualification or equivalent experience.

Location: Grays, Essex (hybrid)
Rate: £72.59 per hour (umbrella)
