We’re looking for an Assistant Accountant to join a dynamic finance team based in Hull, where your precision and pace will make a real impact.
This is a hands-on role at the heart of the business’s financial operations—perfect for someone who thrives on reconciling data, resolving queries, and supporting both internal teams and external customers.
What You’ll Be Doing as Assistant Accountant
You’ll play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy and operational efficiency across the business. Your day-to-day will include:
* Reconciling payments and uploading credit account information
* Investigating and resolving any discrepancies
* Liaising with business units to maintain banking routines
* Processing refunds, credit payments, and expenses claims
* Using online banking portals and supporting the wider team with ad hoc finance tasks
