Job Description
Madisons are recruiting an Assistant Construction Buyer for a specialist interior fit out business based in Lichfield.
The company specialises in the fit out of property in the retail, hospitality & leisure sectors across the UK.
Duties:
Convert internal requisitions into request for quotations and procure competitively from our external supply chain for multiple live fast track fit out projects
Co-ordinate logistics using direct transport & subcontractors
Authorise invoices and manage queries efficiently
Manage plant losses and damages
Build solid relationships both internally & externally with our supply chains
Requirements:
Confident communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong negotiation skills
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Knowledge of construction materials & plant is desirable
Experience of Microsoft Packages.
Further details:
Working hours are 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday
Immediate start available
Permanent role
£27,500 per annum- dependant on experience would be negotiable
