Behaviour Learning Mentor - Bromley

Location: Bromley
 Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term (with potential to become permanent)
 Start Date: ASAP
 Salary: £440-£550 per week (depending on experience)

 Academics are seeking a Behaviour Learning Mentor to join a fantastic Provision in the Bromley area. This is a rewarding opportunity to support students who require additional guidance to reach their full potential - both academically and personally.

As a Behaviour Learning Mentor, you will play a key role in helping pupils overcome barriers to learning, encouraging positive behaviour, and providing 1:1 and small group support. This role is ideal for someone with a background in education, psychology, youth work, or those aspiring to move into teaching or SEN support.

Key Responsibilities:

Support students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs across the school.

Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to implement behaviour support plans.

Deliver targeted interventions to improve engagement and progress.

Build positive relationships with pupils to promote confidence, self-esteem, and resilience.

Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour effectively, following school policies.

Requirements:

Experience working with children or young people with additional needs (in school or alternative settings).

A calm, empathetic, and resilient approach.

Good communication skills
