The Role – Behaviour Mentor

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils who need additional help managing their behaviour and emotions within a mainstream primary school. Your role will involve developing and implementing behaviour strategies, supporting emotional regulation, and helping pupils to engage positively in learning. You will work closely with class teachers, the SENCo, and the pastoral team to deliver personalised support plans that improve pupils’ confidence, wellbeing, and academic progress. This is a hands-on, rewarding role that requires patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to helping young learners achieve their potential.
