Behaviour Mentor - Barking & Dagenham

Pay: £100-£130 per day
We are recruiting Behaviour Mentors to work in specialist provisions across Barking & Dagenham, supporting pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs.
These roles are active, fast-paced and require staff who can build relationships quickly while maintaining calm and consistency.
What you'll be doing:
Supporting pupils with behaviour and emotional regulation
Working 1:1 and in small groups across the school day
Helping students access learning in a structured way
Using de-escalation and positive behaviour strategies
Supporting daily routines and transitions
What we're looking for:
Experience in youth work, sports coaching, education or support roles
Confident, energetic but calm under pressure
Ability to build rapport quickly with young people
Strong behaviour management skills
Resilient and proactive attitude
