Behaviour Mentor / Learning Mentor (Primary)

Are you passionate about supporting children with their behaviour, confidence, and emotional wellbeing? We are seeking adaptable and proactive Behaviour Mentors / Learning Mentors to join our Manchester team, providing support across a range of inclusive, friendly primary schools.
About the Role:
Each day will bring a new challenge and the chance to have a direct impact on pupils who need additional support. You'll work 1:1 and with small groups, helping pupils regulate emotions, stay focused in lessons, and engage positively with learning. You will build strong relationships and act as a positive role model.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and thrives on helping children overcome barriers.
What We're Looking For:
✔ Experience supporting behaviour, SEMH needs, or challenging pupils
✔ Confidence building rapport quickly with children
✔ Strong communication and de-escalation skills
✔ Patience, empathy, resilience, and a positive attitude
✔ Ability to adapt to different routines and school environments
✔ Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
Backgrounds such as youth work, sports coaching, mentoring, care, psychology, criminology or similar are highly valued.
