The Company
A rapidly growing global technology business operating across telecoms, connectivity, and digital infrastructure. Following strong UK and European growth, the company is now expanding into the Data Centre Infrastructure sector and is seeking an experienced BDM to lead this exciting new area.
The Role
This is a hybrid sales positionwhere you’ll drive business development within data centre, telecoms, and network infrastructure markets. Reporting directly to the COO, you’ll develop and deliver the UK sales strategy — with the future opportunity to build and manage your own team as the business scales.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales strategies for the Data Centre Infrastructure and Telecoms sectors.
Identify and secure new business opportunities across telecoms operators, data centre providers, and enterprise customers.
Manage the full sales cycle – from lead generation and tender management to negotiation and close.
Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders and technical decision-makers.
Prepare proposals, bids, and presentations to win new projects.
Report on performance, pipeline, and forecasts to senior management.
Capture the Voice of the Customer (VOC) to shape product and solution development.
About You:
8+ years’ experience in B2B sales or business development within Data Centre Infrastructure, Telecoms, or Network Solutions.
Strong technical knowledge of connectivity, data centre engineering, and network infrastructure.
Proven track record of winning new business and growing key accounts.
Experience with tenders, bids, and PQQ processes.
Excellent relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Entrepreneurial, proactive, and comfortable working remotely with autonomy.
Fluent in English (written and verbal).
The Offer:
Basic Salary: £65,000 – £78,000
Uncapped commission – OTE c.£115,000
At least one day per week in the office working alongside a great team of technical specialists
