Location: Portsmouth, Hampshire
Job Title: Cargo Coordinator – Distribution & Planning (40 hours per week)

Join our dynamic Distribution & Planning team in Portsmouth, where you’ll play a vital role as a Cargo Coordinator. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment supporting customer bookings, queries, and customs processes with room for career development, including forklift training and ongoing support.

What we offer:

  * Competitive salary of £615 - £673 per week (dependent on experience)

  * Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 working hours with occasional weekend opportunities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  * Acting as the main point of contact for customers, hauliers, and internal teams

  * Managing bookings and queries for general cargo efficiently

  * Updating internal and external IT systems with accurate, timely data

  * Coordinating customs procedures for the External Temporary Storage Facility (ETSF)

  * Supporting stock control and reconciliation activities

What we’re looking for:

  * Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel

  * Experience with Terminal Operating and Warehouse Management Systems

  * Knowledge of container load planning and IMDG code

  * Understanding of customs processes related to ETSF, imports, and exports

  * Forklift licence preferred, but training can be provided

  * Full driving licence
