Class 1 Drivers Wanted - Join a Leading Haulage Team
Location: Southampton | Work Type: Ad Hoc (Mon-Fri) | Pay: Weekly (PAYE / PAYE Advanced)
Driver Hire Southampton is seeking experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to support one of our top clients, specialising in general haulage deliveries across the South Coast.
Role Overview:
Drive a Class 1 curtain sider delivering palletised goods
Complete local deliveries and collections across the South Coast
Work 10-12 hour days, with start times between 5:00am-7:00am
No manual handling - pallets are loaded/unloaded by forklift
Follow planned routes, complete paperwork, and stay in regular contact with the Transport OfficeRequirements:
Full UK Class 1 licence with valid CPC and Digi card
Minimum of 1 year recent Class 1 driving experience
Confident operating curtain siders, strapping loads, and handling general haulage
Excellent communication, timekeeping, and professional attitude
Own transport to reach the site
Ability to carry out daily vehicle checks and maintain accurate Tacho recordsBenefits:
