Job Description
NIGHTSHIFT HGV DRIVER WANTED – CLASS 1 (with some Class 2 work)
Pay: £16.72 per hour (pay award pending)
+ £2.39 Sunday Premium (to be confirmed)
Schedule: Sunday to Thursday
Hours: 40+ hours per week (typically 10–12 hours per night)
We are looking for reliable and professional drivers to join our busy nightshift operation. You’ll be completing deliveries to hospitals and stores, transporting a mixture of roll cages and pallets, with both tail-lift and loading-bay deliveries. Duties also include collecting empties for return. All loads are clean supplies.
Requirements:
* Valid Class 1 licence (must be willing to drive Class 2 for certain hospital routes)
* Ideally 6–12 months experience due to delivery areas – however, our client now accepts new passes
* Good knowledge of standard tacho regulations and all duties associated with driving/deliveries
* A DBS check and successful qualifying onboard with Taskmaster

* PAYE paying £16.72 per hour and £19.11 per hour Sunday rate
