HGV Class 1 Driver - Nights

Tewkesbury | £17 per hour PAYE / £20 per hour Umbrella PAYE | Monday - Friday, 20:00 - 03:00 Start | Full-Time | Temp to Perm | Immediate Start

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (Cat C+E) Drivers to join a well-established business in Tewkesbury. This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers seeking long-term, full-time work with a respected employer and competitive pay rates.

Key Duties:

Safely operate HGV vehicles (Category CE or C) in compliance with UK driving laws and tachograph regulations
Carry out multi-drop deliveries of dairy products, ensuring stock rotation and product quality
Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly
Load and unload products safely, including manual handling and use of handling equipment
Follow health & safety, food hygiene, and security procedures at all times
Use handheld units or manual systems to record deliveries, returns, and payments where applicable
Maintain a clean vehicle, both inside and out
Provide excellent customer service

Requirements:

Full UK driving licence with Class 1 (Cat C+E) entitlement.
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards.
Previous multi-drop delivery experience preferred.
Reliable, flexible, and customer-focused attitude.
