Job Description
Class 1 Driver - Normanton (Ongoing Work)
Location: Normanton
Duration: Approx. 6 weeks - Peak Period Cover
We're currently recruiting for reliable and experienced Class 1 Drivers to support our client during their peak period.
PAYE Rates (plus holiday accrual):
Monday to Friday - Days: £16.25 per hour
Monday to Friday - Nights: £17.00 per hour
Saturday & Sunday: £18.00 per hour
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, with overtime available on a weekend
Day and Night shifts available
Start times typically between 05:00-07:00 and 16:00-19:00
Role & Responsibilities:
General haulage work
Delivering between 1-5 drops per day depending on client requirements
Maintaining a high standard of professionalism and safety on the road
Requirements:
Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
Minimum 1 year's experience driving Class 1 vehicles
A positive attitude and a good understanding of transport compliance
