Job Description

Brightwork is recruiting for Temporary Class 1 HGV drivers for a client based in Livingston. 
 
Experience in a prior multi-drop Class 1 position will be required for this role. 
 
Your Time at Work 
This role mainly consists of class 1 store deliveries. 
 
- Transporting goods to various retail store locations across Scotland 
- Guarantee punctual and secure deliveries of products, while strictly following traffic and safety protocols 
- Loading and unloading cages using a tail lift 
- Coordinate with the logistics team to organise deliveries and achieve deadlines with effectiveness 
- Accurately document deliveries and fulfil paperwork obligations 
- Liaise with store staff providing a high level of customer service 
 
Our Perfect Worker 
Experience required: 
- Hold a valid HGV Class 1 licence with relevant CPC certification and Tacho card 
- Proven experience as an HGV Class 1 driver 
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations and compliance 
- Customer service and communication skills for liaising with customers and other team members 
 
You will be required to pass a driving assessment before starting in this role. 
 
Key Information and Benefits 
12 hour night shifts starting between 5pm and 9pm, on a rota covering 5 nights out of 7. 
 
There is an onsite canteen, free parking, and access to the gym.
