Job Title: Class 2 ADR Driver (Packages) – Ad Hoc Work

Location: Birmingham (B46)

Rate of Pay: £16.50 per hour

Contract Type: Ad Hoc / Ongoing (November – January)

About the Role

We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Class 2 ADR Driver (Packages) to join our team based in Birmingham (B46). This is an ad hoc driving position offering consistent weekly work through the winter period, ideal for drivers seeking flexibility and regular hours.

The role involves nationwide delivery of ADR packages, with a working pattern of Monday to Wednesday (2 nights out) and Thursday to Friday (1 night out).

Key Responsibilities

  * Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle to deliver ADR packages to customer sites across the UK.

  * Adhere to all ADR and transport safety regulations at all times.

  * Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.

  * Ensure accurate completion of all delivery documentation and digital records.

  * Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional company image.

Requirements

  * Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.

  * Current ADR License (Packages only).

  * Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.

  * Minimum 1 Year Class 2 driving experience preferred.

  * Flexibility to stay away from home (2–3 nights per week).

  * Strong understanding of health, safety, and ADR transport compliance.

Working Pattern

  * Monday – Wednesday: 2 nights out

  * Thursday – Friday: 1 night out

  * Work available throughout November, December, and January

Pay & Benefits

  * £16.50 per hour (PAYE)

  * Additional night-out allowance paid

  * Regular ongoing work during peak season

  * Supportive transport and operations team
