Exciting Opportunity for a Class Teacher

We are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Class Teacher to join a thriving and inclusive primary school in the Basingstoke area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Class Teacher or an ECT looking to begin their career in a supportive and well-established team.

The successful Class Teacher will be working across both infant and junior phases, delivering high-quality learning experiences and contributing to the wider school community.

Key Responsibilities of the Class Teacher Role:

Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that inspire curiosity and a love of learning
Differentiate effectively to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND and higher ability pupils
Use assessment to inform planning and track pupil progress
Maintain high expectations for behaviour and create a safe, positive learning environment
Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the school's ethos and values

What We're Looking For in a Class Teacher:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the primary curriculum
Successful experience working as a Class Teacher in a primary setting (either as an ECT or experienced teacher)
A team player who contributes positively to school life
A Class Teacher who is passionate about making a difference
