CNC Machinist - £35,000 Salary + Day Shift + Overtime

Key Responsibilities of the CNC Machinist
Set, operate, and monitor CNC milling machines, pillar drills, and lathes.
Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure components meet specifications.
Use measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and verniers to check and maintain quality standards.
Work with a range of materials including ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals, plastics, and copper.
Maintain high standards of accuracy, efficiency, and safety at all times.
Collaborate with engineers and production staff to resolve technical or machining issues.
Perform basic machine maintenance and keep the work area clean and organised.Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience as a CNC Machinist in a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.
Strong ability to read, interpret, and work from technical/engineering drawings.
Hands-on experience operating CNC milling machines, pillar drills, and lathes.
Skilled in the use of measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, verniers, etc.).
Experience working with a variety of materials (ferrous, non-ferrous, plastics, copper).
High attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement.What We Offer
