What You Will Do:
Fully machine complex components using 3-axis and 5-axis VMCs, ensuring precision and quality.
Load offline programs and collaborate with the production engineer to optimise setups.
Maintain high standards of quality and ensure on-time delivery of machined parts.
Save all programs and setup sheets after each job for future reference.
Assist shift leaders and engineers with tooling or material requirements.
Keep workshop and machines clean while adhering to safe operating practices.
What You Will Bring:
Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within small batch or prototype manufacturing.
Familiarity with Matsuura, DMG, or Colchester machines is advantageous.
A working knowledge of Heidenhain and Fanuc controls.
A background in industries such as Motorsport, Aerospace, or R&D.
A proactive, flexible, and well-organised approach with excellent communication skills.
