Location: Poole
Salary: £35,000 – £46,000
Shifts Available: Days or Nights
Holt Engineering is recruiting for a long-established precision engineering business in Poole that’s looking to add two experienced CNC Turners to its team. This isn’t a trainee role — so, we’re looking for people who can hit the ground running with confidence and get straight to work on Fanuc or Mazak lathes.
The business has all modern machines which you will be working on, producing small to medium batch work where precision matters and quality always comes first.
What You’ll Be Doing
Setting and operating CNC lathes (Fanuc or Mazak controls)
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings with accuracy
Selecting and changing tooling, setting offsets, and proving out programs
Completing first-off inspections and maintaining tight tolerances
Feeding back setup/run times to improve processes
Maintaining a safe, tidy, and quality-focused work environmentWhat We’re Looking For
Strong CNC turning experience (multi-axis knowledge is a bonus)
Solid background with Fanuc or Mazak controls
A precise, methodical approach with genuine pride in your work
CNC milling experience is useful but not requiredWhat You’ll Get
Salary up to £46,000 depending on shift and experience
25 days’ holiday + bank holidays
