CNC Miller
Weekend shift- Friday - Sunday 6am-6pm
Rate of pay- up to £24ph
AMLR is partnering with a reputable engineering company to recruit a skilled, reliable, and time-served CNC Miller to join their team.
Based at a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Coventry, the company offers cutting-edge technology and bespoke engineering solutions, backed by over 60 years of industry expertise.
Important: Due to the nature of the market our client supplies into, all candidates must be UK residents and will be subject to a DBS check.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate and program CNC milling machines (3, 4, and 5 axis)
* Work extensively on Mazak machines
* Use Mazatrol and Fanuc control panels
* Operate controls such as M Plus, 640 M, Matrix Nexus, and Smooth G
* Work to tight tolerances on a variety of metals, including aluminium and titanium
* Read and interpret engineering and aerospace drawings
Required Qualifications & Skills
* Apprenticeship or equivalent City & Guilds qualification preferred
* Minimum 5 years CNC milling experience
* Apprentice-trained or time-served machinist
* Experience in aerospace machining is highly desirable
