Job Description

Hindle Reman - Engineering CNC machinist

Summary of role:

Engineering CNC machinist with turning experience & programming.

Hindle Reman remanufacture engine components and wear parts for customers in a wide range of industries, including power generation, waste management, oil and gas, construction, rail, marine, defence and many more. This is a good opportunity to join a well-established company.

Daily duties and responsibilities:

  * Rework/Manufacture of components and working to drawings

  * General housekeeping of work area and routine machine maintenance/safety checks.

  * Participate in continuous improvement activities

  * Maintain standards of health, safety and hygiene in the workplace including the yard areas

Requirements:

  * CNC turning or similar experience essential with Fanuc controls

  * Apprentice trained is preferred but not essential

  * Willing to learn new skills

  * Good standard in maths and English

  * Have an ability to work to a high standard of quality with attention to detail

  * Wearing of appropriate PPE and observing health and safety rules

39 Hours:

Monday to Thursday 07:00 to 16:00

Friday 07:00 to 12:00 midday

Benefits:

Accessible by bus and train

Overtime paid at x 1.5 after 39 hours

25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays
