The Role
As the Combustion Engineer, you’ll:
• Provide first line reactive response to critical Heating and Hot water plants, including gas pipework outside of normal business hours if necessary.
• Competently enable and reset critical plant after power outages, ensuring safety and functionality.
• Ensure that company-issued tools are PAT tested and comply with regulations.
• Assist with local financial control on all reactive and essential repairs to maintain project efficiency.
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with colleagues and clients while ensuring high standards of service delivery.
You
To be successful in the role of Combustion Engineer, you’ll bring:
• A valid ACS certification covering core safety and gas appliances, along with relevant experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC and gas equipment operation, maintenance, and repair.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear interaction with clients and team members.
• Proven ability to complete risk assessments and method statements accurately.
• A proactive approach to improving plant and service performance while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
