The Role:
You will oversee the Composites and Paint departments while managing site operations, production flow, and safety. Your mission is to drive operational excellence, implement innovative composite processes, and ensure that every project is delivered to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Composites and Paint teams, fostering development, engagement, and succession planning.
Support design and manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency and quality from concept to production.
Innovate and optimise composite manufacturing methods, including epoxy infusion and advanced resin systems.
Oversee site operations, including Health & Safety, security, and facility management.
Manage resourcing, production scheduling, and workflow to meet project timelines and budgets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project handovers and alignment with overall build schedules.
Promote a positive, collaborative team culture, driving continuous improvement and high-quality outcomes.Key Skills & Experience:
Proven leadership within a composites manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of advanced composites processes (infusion, prepreg, wet layup) and tooling development.
Experience in Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and production facility management.
Excellent human management and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and teams across HR, H&S, and financial frameworks.
Commercially aware with strong organisational and planning skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project planning tools.Why This Role:
