Job Description

Are you a Computer Science teacher looking for a dynamic new teaching role in an excellent secondary school in Hitchin?

Do you enjoy inspiring students with engaging Computer Science lessons?

We are seeking an enthusiastic Computer Science teacher who can work full-time from January to Easter , January to July or permenantely.

You will be expected to deliver high-quality lessons to a diverse group of students, helping them excel in their computing knowledge and understanding.

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is preferred; however, experience as an unqualified Computer Science teacher within the United Kingdom will be looked upon favourably.

You will need to:

  * 

    Work as a Computer Science teacher by planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of all pupils.

  * 

    Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and development.

  * 

    Work collaboratively with other teachers, support staff, and school leadership to enhance the educational experience.

  * 

    Adhere to school policies and procedures, including those related to child protection and safeguarding.

  * 

    Teach the Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Computer Science curriculum.

Qualifications:

  * 

    Experience as a Computer Science teacher within a secondary school.

  * 

    Qualified Teacher Status (preferred).

  * 

    Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Computer Science curriculum.

  * 

    Confidence in maintaining high standards of behaviour.

  * 

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  * 

    Ability to inspire and motivate students.
