Construction Director
Salary £95K-£115k+Package (DOE)
North west ( UK Travel ) 

My client is a large-scale property contractor that specialise within large scale construction projects. They deliver both build to rent and student accommodation projects in and around £100million.

Due to continued expansion, they require a Construction Director to join them. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly experienced operational manager. You will be co ordinating multiple teams around the UK.

As Construction Director you will be managing all project managers, ensuring all their site projects are running to time scales and within budgets levels set.

As an excellent leader, you will have proven experience leading successful managers delivering design and build projects. You will come from developer or main contracting background, with experience delivering multiple projects around £20million to £30million.
What I believe is key for this position is the experience in delivering high rise buildings over 20 storeys.

You'll be responsible for:

•  Providing accurate and timely project performance reports, ensuring projects are on track and contract requirements are met.
•  Providing solutions to any high-lighted areas of concern
•  Lead on all construction aspects of the division's work
•  Providing strategic and professional guidance to the Contracts Managers, Project Managers and member of the team
•  Working collaboratively with the project teams and sub-contractors, building strong and trusted working relationships
•  Developing team capabilities and shaping the future strategy
•  Progress reports to senior board level management

Skills and Knowledge

•  Professional Qualification and for previous management experience.
•  Good knowledge of computers including Spreadsheet, Word and Astra (Power Project)
•  Experience of working on high rise developments
•  Construction detailing / programming experience
•  Value engineering

My client operates nationally so travel to sites as and when required will be necessary for the role.
