We are seeking a talented Contract Research & Development Engineer (R&D Engineer) to undertake a key project focussed role as part of a leading Engineering team. You will play a key role in the development and testing of a next-generation electrochemical sensor, designed for integration into a new product range.
About the Role
In this hands-on position, you will be responsible for building, testing, and validating the performance of electrochemical sensors. You’ll work with cutting-edge electrochemistry equipment, gas delivery systems, and engage in iterative product development—contributing to root-cause analysis, failure investigation, and design refinement.
While the primary focus will be on supporting our sensor NPI (New Product Introduction) project, you’ll also have opportunities to contribute to wider sensor design improvements and equipment testing across the department.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
Has strong experience in developing, testing, and validating electrochemical sensors
A degree in analytical chemistry/science/engineering or similar.
Familiar with electrochemistry laboratory equipment including potentiostats
Enjoys problem-solving and continuous improvement in a technical environment
