Controls Engineer - £50k - Bedfordshire

Platform Recruitment has partnered with a leading precision engineering company that designs and manufactures high-performance systems used across advanced manufacturing and research sectors.

They are now seeking an Electrical / Control Engineer to join their growing team and take ownership of the design, delivery, and commissioning of electrical and control systems within their cutting-edge products.

Responsibilities:

  * Design and develop electrical and control systems for precision engineering products.

  * Produce detailed designs using SolidWorks Electrical, with support from experienced CAD designers.

  * Ensure all systems comply with relevant product safety and regulatory standards, including CE and regional machinery directives.

  * Oversee the build, testing, and commissioning of control systems for production equipment.

Requirements:

  * Proven experience designing and commissioning industrial control systems.

  * Hands-on experience with PLC programming, drives, and motion control.

  * Familiarity with SolidWorks Electrical or similar CAD software.

  * Understanding of product compliance standards
