Job Description
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced FMCG environment where your technical expertise will play a key role in maintaining and improving plant performance.

Responsibilities:
* Expert mechanical and electrical system knowledge with the ability to identify, diagnose and rectify breakdowns
* Ensure plant and equipment performance meets operational efficiency and compliance standards.
* Deliver and improve planned preventative maintenance across the site whilst maintaining CMMS records.
* Lead on instrumentation, process controls and PLC-related tasks (Siemens, Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley).
* Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and production.
* Provide training and support to new and existing team members.
Controls Engineer Requirements:
* Apprentice trained or equivalent engineering qualification
* Strong PLC knowledge (Diagnosing & programming)
* Be prepared to assist other sites with PLC systems or small automation projects (remote or on-site)
* Experience delivering Continuous Improvement initiatives.
* Excellent communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
Commutable from parts of: Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire, Warwickshire, Buckinghamshire and Gloucestershire
