Completions Assistant - Residential Property
Portsmouth | Permanent | Full Time
35 hours per week, Monday-Friday
I'm working with a Portsmouth-based law firm that is seeking a Completions Assistant to join their Residential Property team. This role focuses on supporting the final stages of the conveyancing process, taking ownership of files once contracts have been exchanged and ensuring all post-completion work is carried out accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
?? Managing conveyancing files from exchange through to post-completion
?? Preparing and submitting Stamp Duty (SDLT) forms
?? Handling Land Registry applications and registrations
?? Updating clients and addressing any post-completion queries
?? Ensuring documents and records are accurate, compliant, and up to date
?? Liaising with solicitors, clients, and external parties when required
?? Monitoring deadlines to ensure transactions progress smoothly
?? Maintaining organised and well-structured file management systems
This position is well suited to someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and enjoys working within a supportive, friendly team environment.
