Job Description

Our client based in central Birmingham, recognised within the Legal 500 are seeking to add a Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer to work in our clients Post-Exchange team. You will have a minimum of 2 years + experience. Hybrid working, private healthcare and life assurance are some of the many benefits on offer. 
 
 The successful candidate will play a vital within the team, dealing with a significant number of transactions from the point of exchange of contracts to completion and beyond to registration. 
 
 Responsibilities for this Conveyancing Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer vacancy:

Prepare and approve transfer deed and leases
Prepare for the execution and completion
Review replies to pre-completion requisitions
Submit and review searches
Preparing SDLT returns and arranging payment
Prepare AP1 applications
Provide regular updated reporting to the partner lead
Take an active role and responsibility in training and developing more junior members of the team
Provide the team with progress reports
Review post exchange and post completion processesPerson Specification for this Conveyancing Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer vacancy:

At least two year’s PQE as a Solicitor, CILEx Lawyer or Licensed Conveyancer in the UK
Experience in dealing with Post Completion registrations and matters in volume.
Experience of supervising a team of paralegals.
Competent in all MS applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Able to be client focused and have an approachable manner
Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
