Counselling Lecturer (Level 3)
Locations: Enfield, Tottenham Green and Finsbury Park
Rate: £22.00 - £36.00 per hour
Contract: Temporary, immediate start until 1st July 2026
Schedule: 4 days per week across 3 college sites
Our client, a well-established further education college in North London, is seeking an experienced Counselling Lecturer to deliver Level 3 Counselling courses across multiple campuses.

Teaching Schedule
This role is delivered over four days per week and includes split shifts across three sites.
Monday
9:00am – 3:00pm: Enfield Campus
4:15pm – 9:00pm: Tottenham Green CampusTuesday
1:00pm – 4:00pm: Tottenham Green Campus
4:30pm – 8:00pm: Finsbury Park CampusWednesday
9:30am – 3:00pm: Tottenham Green Campus
5:00pm – 9:00pm: Finsbury Park CampusThursday
9:00am – 5:00pm: Finsbury Park CampusKey Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching to Level 3 Counselling students.
Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials and assessment activities in line with the curriculum.
Assess student work and provide timely, constructive feedback.
Monitor learner progress and maintain accurate records.
Support students in developing counselling skills, theoretical understanding and ethical awareness.
Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Attend team meetings and contribute to curriculum development where required.
Ensure compliance with awarding body and college quality standards.Essential Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
A recognised Counselling and Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body qualification.
Experience teaching Counselling at Level 3 within further education or adult education.
Strong knowledge of counselling theory, ethics and skills practice.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
A current enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).Why Apply?
