About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join the school’s dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and can confidently deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects in the teacher’s absence.
You will be responsible for maintaining a positive learning environment, ensuring that all students are engaged, supported, and making progress. The ideal candidate will have strong classroom management skills and experience supporting students with SEN.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
*
Deliver pre-set lessons and ensure students remain on task.
*
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
*
Provide support and encouragement to students with SEN.
*
Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment for all learners.
Requirements:
*
Minimum 6 months’ experience working with children in a UK school setting.
*
Experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
*
Confident classroom presence and ability to engage students.
*
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*
A positive attitude and a genuine passion for education.
*
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
