Are you a skilled Credit Controller with a passion for driving results, building strong client relationships and making a real impact on a company’s cash flow? We’re looking for an experienced professional to join our client’s Finance – Credit Team in Middleton. You’ll be part of a supportive team, working in a dynamic environment where your contributions will be valued and recognised.

Department: Finance – Credit Team
Reporting to: Credit Manager/Head of Transactions
Type: Full-time – Hybrid following training
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Take full ownership of your own customer portfolio
* Proactively chase outstanding payments via phone and email
* Meet and exceed monthly cash collection and aged debt reduction targets
* Investigate and resolve payment queries efficiently to minimise delays
* Reconcile customer accounts, ensuring accuracy and cleanliness of ledgers
* Collaborate with internal teams and regularly meet key clients alongside Sales and Invoicing
* Maintain accurate records in our finance system (Navision)
* Contribute ideas to improve credit processes and performance
What We’re Looking For:
Credit control experience in a busy B2B environment
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Professional and confident dealing with clients and colleagues
Strong problem-solving abilities and initiative
Intermediate Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
Team player with a positive, proactive mindset
Car owner/driver – essential
Nice to Have:
Experience with Navision or similar finance systems
Studying toward or holding Institute of Credit Management qualifications.
