Customer Service Coordinator Location: Ely, Cambridgeshire Hours: Monday to Friday, Core Hours 8am to 5pm, Flexible Hourly Rate / Salary: £15.50 per hour to £16.25 per hour Duration: July to November 2025 Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service? We’re looking for a Customer Service Coordinator to join a friendly and personable team in Ely on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on accuracy, enjoys building strong relationships with both customers and colleagues, and is confident in managing multiple tasks in a professional and polite environment. Experience in Logistics, Export, Shipments, Sales Order processing would be advantageous however training will be provided. Who are we? Job Duties: * Deliver first-class customer service to key client accounts and internal stakeholders * Manage open orders and take ownership of invoicing via the ERP system * Process and update purchase orders promptly * Sales order processing using the internal sales portals * Progressing and dealing with customer returns and faulty items * Organise logistics, exports and necessary documentation for shipments leaving the UK * Handle incoming calls and team mailbox enquiries * Dealing with customer complaints escalating when necessary * Coordinate with other departments to complete tasks What we are looking for: * Strong communication skills demonstrating excellent customer service * Ability to prioritise tasks and manage a varying workload * Previous administration experience * A willingness to solve problems and help customers * Team player and able to work within a small team of 6 other team members * Export and Logistics knowledge would be advantageous So, are you ready for your next job?
