Job Description
Experienced Design and Technology Teacher Wanted
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Design and Technology Teacher to join our dynamic and forward-thinking team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled educator who is passionate about inspiring creativity, innovation, and practical problem-solving in students.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging Design and Technology lessons across relevant key stages.
Develop students' knowledge and skills in design, manufacturing, product development, and creative thinking.
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
Maintain a safe and well-organised workshop/classroom environment.
Encourage students to develop confidence, independence, and practical skills.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Proven experience teaching Design and Technology.
Strong subject knowledge, including experience with design processes, materials, and workshop practices.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
