Design Manager | London | Specialist Contractor | Oct 2025

Join a well-established specialist contractor delivering technically complex façade and restoration projects across London. You'll take the lead on design delivery, coordinating clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure drawings, compliance, and programmes align with site and commercial needs.

The Role
•  Lead design coordination from tender through to completion
•  Manage design programmes, drawing reviews, and technical approvals
•  Liaise with architects, engineers, and specialist subcontractors to resolve design issues
•  Ensure compliance with building regulations, specifications, and client requirements
•  Support pre-construction, procurement, and project delivery teams

What they're looking for
•  510 years' experience in design management or coordination (main contractor or specialist trade)
•  Background in façades, stonework, or heritage restoration preferred
•  Technically strong, detail-focused, and confident working under pressure
•  Organised, collaborative, and able to communicate clearly with all stakeholders
•  Ambitious and looking to develop into a senior leadership role
