Job Description
A well-established and respected construction company in Leicester is seeking an experienced Design Manager to take the lead across a range of exciting, high-value projects. This role offers the opportunity to drive the design process from pre-construction through to delivery, working closely with internal teams and external consultants to achieve high-quality, buildable and compliant solutions.
The Role

Manage and coordinate the full design process across multiple projects
*
Lead design meetings, reviews and workshops with project stakeholders
*
Review drawings, specifications and technical information for accuracy and buildability
*
Ensure all design deliverables meet programme and quality targets
*
Identify design risks and propose effective solutions
*
Collaborate with pre-construction, commercial and site teams to support successful delivery
About You
*
Proven experience as a Design Manager within the construction sector
*
Strong technical understanding across major building projects
*
Excellent coordination, communication and stakeholder-management skills
*
Confident decision-maker with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
*
Ability to manage design information in fast-moving project environments
