Job Title: Design Technology Teacher – Resistant Materials Location: West London Start Date: 1 September 2026 Salary: £41,817 - £63,996 Contract: Permanent Are you an experienced Design Technology teacher specialising in Resistant Materials?   Do you set high expectations for your students, supporting them to meet their full potential, across the full DT curriculum? Do you have confident classroom presence, consistently engaging students of all abilities and background in your lessons and with their assessments? New to our school network is an established and growing 11-18 academy in need of a qualified Design Technology (DT) Teacher to join them from September. In this role, you will teach across the DT curriculum at KS3 and KS4 with a specialist focus on Resistant Materials. ECTs with good experience in Resistant Materials are also encouraged to apply. Teachers and leaders at this large secondary school set high expectations for both staff and students, promoting academic excellence across all subjects and maintaining good behaviour. Though behaviour can be challenging, the school employs a clear behaviour policy with an emphasis on accountability and community. The school has a diverse student and staff population, building positive relationships based on empathy and respect.
