Domestic Abuse Support Worker
Monmouth / Abergavenny | £24,222 | 35 hours - Mon to Fri, 9am-430pm
Are you looking for a role where you help people feel safe and supported?
As a Domestic Abuse Support Worker, you'll support individuals and families affected by domestic abuse to stay safe and keep their homes in the Monmouthshire region.
You'll join a respected Welsh charity with 30 years of trauma-informed, people-first support.
What you will do
Support families in the community
Complete assessments and safety plans
Prevent tenancy breakdown
Work with housing, police, safeguarding and partner agencies
Help people access the right services quickly
Build trust and confidence with those you support
This role is ideal if you…
Have experience in domestic abuse, housing or community support
Care deeply about people
Stay calm under pressure
Can assess risk and respond safely
Communicate with empathy
Hold a full driving licence
