What is the role?
As a Drama Teacher, you'll have the exciting responsibility of bringing theatre to life in the classroom, fostering creativity, and inspiring students to express themselves through performance. You'll be teaching drama to a range of year groups, from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 4, helping students develop their confidence, communication skills, and creativity.
Working within a supportive and dynamic environment, you'll deliver engaging lessons, create performance opportunities, and cultivate a love of the dramatic arts in all students. Your role will also involve working alongside other creative subject teachers to contribute to a rich and diverse curriculum.

We’re looking for someone who is:
Creative, dynamic, and enthusiastic about drama and performance
A strong communicator and team player
Eager to learn and develop professionally
Passionate about inspiring students and supporting their growth
Whether you’re an experienced teacher or a newly qualified graduate with a passion for drama, this is an excellent opportunity to build your career in education.
Drama Teacher Role & Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver inspiring drama lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
Create opportunities for students to develop their confidence through performance
Develop a curriculum that fosters creativity and critical thinking
Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment
Collaborate with colleagues in the arts department to enrich the curriculum
Support students’ personal and social development through extracurricular activities such as drama clubs or productions
Non-negotiables:
Must have a recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
Must have a degree in Drama, Theatre, Performing Arts, or a related subject
Must possess strong literacy and numeracy skills
Previous teaching experience (preferred but not essential)
Passion for working with young people and fostering creativity in education
