Job Description

An established and reputable independent day nursery has an urgent need for an Early Years Educator based in Cricklewood, North West London. The nursery offer care for children aged between 3 months to 5 years and are open all year round.

As Early Years Educator, your responsibilities will include:

Communicating with your Manager on any day-to-day issues in relation to your role.
Being aware of OFSTED national standards.
Implementing and supporting the nursery policies.
Maintaining up to date records on children attending the nursery.
Being responsible for housekeeping duties.
Working effectively with other team members and support each other.
Working in partnership with parents for the benefit of the children.
Promoting a professional image of the nursery.
Assisting in the organisation and attending out of hours meetings and training sessions when requested to do so by the Nursery Manager.
Supporting the management ethos.
Undertaking any duties set to you by the management team that will assist in the day to day running of the nursery.
We’re looking for an Early Years Educator with:

Minimum Level 2 Early Years Educator qualification (or other full and relevant Early Years qualification)
Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting
Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Paediatric First Aid (preferred)
Knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation governing childcare (e.g., Safeguarding)
