Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to support a nursery or early years classroom in the Kidderminster area. This role is ideal for someone with a background in Early Years education who also has experience or knowledge of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
Key Responsibilities
*
Assist in delivering the EYFS curriculum to young learners aged 3–5
*
Provide additional support to children with SEND to ensure they are included and engaged
*
Work one-to-one or in small groups, offering tailored guidance and encouragement
*
Help with daily routines including snack times, personal care, and play-based learning
*
Maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment
Required Experience
*
Experience working within EYFS in a school or nursery setting
*
A minimum Level 2 qualification in Early Years or Childcare
*
Understanding of SEND and a commitment to inclusive practices
*
A patient, enthusiastic, and caring approach to early years support
