Maintenance Electrician/Electrical Engineer – Manufacturing
Leeds, West Yorkshire

We’re seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician/Electrical Engineer to keep high-speed manufacturing lines running safely and efficiently at our Leeds site.
The Role:
*
Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance on automated packaging and process machinery
*
Diagnose and repair faults on motors, drives, sensors, PLCs, and conveyors
*
Work collaboratively with mechanical engineers and production teams to minimise downtime
*
Ensure compliance with site safety standards and engineering procedures
*
Support continuous improvement and root cause analysis
About You:
*
Time-served or qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds 2365 / 18th Edition)
*
Proven experience in manufacturing, packaging, or FMCG environments
*
Confident working across PLC-controlled systems (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.)
*
Strong problem-solving mindset with good communication skills
*
Flexible to work rotating day and night shifts
